Patricia L. Stierl, PA-C

Patricia L. Stierl, PA-C, 74, passed away peacefully at home on June 14, 2025. A lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio, she built a life rooted in compassion, service, and an unshakable devotion to family. Patricia was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend- known by many as "Pat" or "Grammy"- and was the heart of her family.

A dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant, Pat had a long and meaningful career, working with organizations such as Kaiser Permanente, HealthSpan, and Summa, where she formed lasting relationships with colleagues and patients alike, Among those who knew her best, she was lovingly called the "doctor of the family"- always the first person to call for advice, support, or a diagnosis. Her warmth, sharp mind, and grounded strength made her a trusted presence in every part of her life.

A lifelong learner and avid reader, Pat believed deeply in the power of knowledge. That same passion extended into her role as a grandmother, where she was a constant source of encouragement and pride. She never missed a game, recital, award ceremony, or school event- always showing up to celebrate every achievement, big or small.

Pat was preceded in death by her son, Dave Stierl; mother, Mildred Walck. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 57 years, David Stierl; daughter, Kim (Jerry) Brownell; grandchildren, Jonathan (Juliann), Tiffany (Seth), Juliana: great grandsons, Joey, Landyn; brother, Jeff (Paula) Walck; nephew, Ryan.

Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, June 25 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
