Patricia Ann Pinkston

Patricia Ann Pinkston, born on August 23, 1964, in Akron, Ohio, passed away on June 7, 2026. Patricia lived a life marked by compassion, joy, and a deep devotion to those she loved, leaving an indelible legacy as an avid animal rescuer, dog lover, and passionate animal activist.

Her commitment to the welfare of animals was a defining feature of her life. Patricia's tireless efforts in animal rescue and advocacy reflected her profound empathy and unwavering dedication to making the world a better place for our furry companions. This love for animals was matched only by her devotion to her family, whom she cherished deeply.

Patricia found great happiness in being surrounded by her family, especially during the holidays—a time she treasured for the warmth and connection they fostered. She always looked forward to family vacations, moments filled with laughter, togetherness, and treasured memories. Her spirited love of karaoke and singing brought joy not only to herself but to all who had the pleasure of sharing these spirited moments with her.

She is survived by her beloved sister and brother-in-law, Vickie (Roger) Stalnaker; her sister, Tammie LaGuardia; and her nieces and nephews: Nichole Brady, Donald Pinkston, Kristie Waters, Elizabeth Lamb, Denise Johnson, and Lyndsay Hutton. Patricia also leaves behind several great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew who were touched by her kindness and enthusiasm for life.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Chester Pinkston, and her mother, Shirley Grozdanoff. Their legacy lives on in the love and memories cherished by all who knew Patricia.

Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, love, and passionate advocacy. Patricia Ann Pinkston’s memory will continue to inspire those who loved her and those who were fortunate enough to witness her unwavering spirit and heartfelt compassion. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with respect and affection.
