Patricia Lynn "Patty" Johnston

Patricia Lynn "Patty" Johnston, 63, of Akron, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by love on February 4, 2026. She was born on February 24, 1962 to the late Albert and Sophie {Cornette} Johnston.

Patty is survived by her loving sister Phyllis Johnston; her "brother from another mother" Eric Milhoan; significant other Robert "Rocky" Bell; best friend Diane (Patrick) Lindhe; special friend Kim Booth; and a host of other special friends that Patty considered family.

Patty worked for McDonald's for 25 years. She loved Winnie the Pooh, and her roses, which Phyllis brought to her weekly. Patty always enjoyed the little things in life, and was a "come as you are" sort of person- her request for her funeral was that those in attendance do the same.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Wednesday, February 11th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 12th at 11:30 a.m. with Chaplain Terry Arnold officiating.
