Patricia(Cleopatra) V. Ebbeler-Pohlert left to be with the Lord on July 16, 2014.
She was born in Jakarta, Indonesia (formerly Batavia, the Dutch East Indies) on December 18, 1919 to Friedrich Karl Pohlert (from Germany) and his wife, the Indonesian lady Mia Minah. Pat, her husband (Hans) and oldest son (Ronald) first immigrated from Indonesia to the Netherlands(NL) in 1946 and then in 1957 to the USA, Grand Rapids, Michigan. She subsequently moved to Florida and eventually to Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Wilhelm (Wim) Voll, who died as a WW II POW in Fukuoka, Japan (1944), her second husband Hans Ebbeler (1994), four sisters (Valesca, Dorothea, Eugeni, Catherine) and three brothers (Maximilian, William and Gregor).
Still living are her sons, Ronald Voll(Leslie) of Tallmadge,OH., Raymond Ebbeler of Largo, FL and daughter , Ingrid Jones of Edgewater, FL, 6 grandchildren: Steven Voll(Sandy) -TX, Michael Voll - MI, Cathy Voll-Wallis(John)-OH, Brian Voll(Elaine)-NC, Sheldon Ebbeler (Cara)-FL and Shane Jones-FL. Also,she currently has a total of nine great-grand children and a brother Siegfried Pohlert (Maud) living in Rijswijk, NL.
The family would like to thank the Gables of KentRidge staff and the Harbor Light Hospice team for their loving, compassionate and excellent care provided to Pat during her last 7 years in Ohio.
A family gathering and viewing will be followed by cremation and interment of her and that of her late husband's cremains at the Tallmadge cemetery.
