Pamela L. Sharrer

Pamela Lynn Sharrer, 75, of Portage Lakes, went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2026.

She was born on May 9, 1950 to Herbert and Lena (Brunty) Patterson in Sprigg, WV.

On June 8, 1968, she married Thomas J. Sharrer. They resided in Portage Lakes, Ohio.

Pamela is Survived by her soul mate and loving husband of 58 years, Thomas; son, Thomas (Michele) Sharrer, Jr.; daughter, Melanie (James) Conner; grandchildren, Abby, Alexandra, Jimmy Jr. (Erika), Taylor (Stephanie), Shayna (Colton) and Caleb; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Patterson; and sister, Diana Gottschalk.

Pamela Retired from Coventry Local Schools. She was a member of Goodyear Boating & Yachting Club, Army Navy 250 Veterans Club, ACW Scooter Club and the YMCA Mermaids.

To know Pam was to love her, she was a friend to all. She was the matriarch of her family, always there for unconditional love and guidance. She loved her family with her whole heart and enjoyed spending time together.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lena Patterson.

A celebration of life will be held at the Army Navy 250, 2970 North Bender Ave. Akron, OH 44319, on Saturday May 30, 2026 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm all are welcome to attend.
