Pamela Sue Bard, 76, of Tallmadge, passed away on January 8, 2026. She was born on August 8, 1949 to the late Halsey and Myrtle {Hashman} Whitney.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Timothy Bard; children, Donald (Nicole) Friedlein, James (Heather) Friedlein, Michelle Smith, Ernest (Lisa) Bard II, Terresa (Anthony) Smith, Nathaniel Bard, Cassandra Bard; grandchildren Zelia, Johnny, Leigh, Mariah, Madison, Emily, Tyler, Deven, Anthony Jr., Madison and Shawn; many great-grandchildren; siblings Diane (Bob), Debbie, Penny (Rick), Frank and Dennis; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pam loved her family with every ounce of her being, and was the glue that held them all together. She was the first to reach out, either with a text or phone call, to keep up with the happenings in her family's day-to-day life. Pam was always worried for her family's well-being, and even tracked her loved ones' flights to make sure they landed safely.
Pam loved to make memories with Tim, and they traveled far and often. Their motorcycle, camper and their own feet took them to some of the most beautiful places. Pam and Tim were a love unmatched, and their devotion to each other became a model to their children and grandchildren.
Pam's favorite times of the year were Independence Day and Christmas, because her family all gathered to celebrate. From large summer picnics to crowded but cozy holiday dinners, Pam always looked forward to her favorite sound: the laughter and conversation of her family making memories.
Pam's unwavering faith in God and her profound relationship with Jesus guided her every step of the way. While her family grieves deeply, they find solace in the knowledge that she is dancing with the angels and her beloved ones who have departed before her. They eagerly anticipate the day when they will reunite with her.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Revelations 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things are passed away."
