Otto Sziva
August 24, 1934 — February 6, 2017
Otto Sziva, 82, passed away on February 6, 2017. He was born in Hungary and raised in Germany, and came to the US in 1951. Otto was a member of the German Family Society. He retired from Reuther Mold and Manufacturing in 2000 and continued working part-time. He loved fishing in Canada, gambling, history, and went to Burger King with his buddies every afternoon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Margaret Sziva; and grandson, Noah. Otto was survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Shirley; son, Michael; daughters, Michele (Gary) Simon and Lisa Sziva; sister, Erika Clark; 3 grandchildren; special granddaughter, Jaylynn; best friends, Beverly and George; and numerous other family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Thursday February 9, 2017 from 6-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Private burial will be held at a later date.
