Opal C. Lenington, 82, of Tallmadge, went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2016 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by son, Gerald. She is survived by her husband, Ed; six children, Sheila, Judy, Howard, Clara and Karen; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday March 4, 2016 from 10-11am with the service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Rev. Joe Ellis officiating. Interment Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
