Norman "Bud" C. Magrell Sr.
Norman "Bud" C. Magrell, 77, of Atwater, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. He was born October 23, 1937 in Akron, Ohio to the late William and Rachel Magrell.
Bud retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber after 38 years of service.
After retirement Bud spent most of his time training thoroughbred race horses that he owned and winning an excise 220 plus races.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; brothers, William Edward Jr., Bob, and Jack; grandson, William (Willie) Magrell Jr.
Bud is survived by his sons, William (Tracy) and Norman Chuck Jr. (Jane); grandchildren, Stacey (James) Hicks and Chelsea; great grandchildren, Griffin and Kamryn; brothers, Merlin (Charlotte), Larry (Betty), and Jim; sister, Shirley (Klet "Jr".), Freeland and numerous nieces and nephews.
In honoring Bud's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bud's life will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Atwater Township Hall, 1199 St. 183 Atwater, Ohio. To leave a special message for the family please visit www.newcomerAkron.cm
