Norma J. Lawlis (Starr), 87, went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Norma was born on May 17, 1929 in, Akron, OH to Carl and Gladys Starr. She loved working in her yard, loved her dog Bella and many cats. Norma was an avid doll collector.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, William Starr, Rena Mae Barnett.
She is survived by children, Richard (Gloria) Hamilton, Pamela Hay and Tom, David (Donna) Wolcott, Daniel Wolcott; granddaughter, Leah Wolcott; sister, Lucille Boggs; best friends, Venna Brezovsky, Loletta Wilson and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss Norma dearly.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home.
Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
