Nora Fleet

Nora Jane Fleet, 75, of Akron, passed away August 19, 2014. Nora was born in Webster Springs WV, on January 5, 1939 to the late Walter Ray and Eulah Rae Sears. Nora retired from Ferriot Brothers Inc. after 23 years of service. She was a member Ladies Auxiliary Post 3383. In her free time, she enjoyed cross stitching, old movies and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Nora had a kind heart and would do anything for anyone and was loved by all. In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Gribble; sister, Josephine Howe and granddaughter, Nichole McHenry. Nora is survived by her husband, Rhonald of 32 years; two daughters, Starlla (Marshall) Dupert and Dreama Siers; grandchildren, Robert McHenry Jr., Michelle McHenry, Marshall Dupert IV, Zachery Dupert and Michelle Dupert; two great grandchildren, Matthew Daugherty Jr. and Zah'Cari Dupert; brother, Arnon Cool and sisters, Lois Wallace and Bonnie Witham and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Family and friends may call on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 3 to 4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will follow at 4pm with Pastor Jerry Harpool officiating. Private interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery.
