Nith Syvongsay

Nith “All of it” Syvongsay, of Akron, Ohio, passed away comfortably, surrounded by her loving family at Akron City Hospital on June 11, 2026. She was 59 years old.

Born on May 19,1967, Nith was the favorite child of Khamtanh and May Rassavong. Nith was a dedicated homemaker, a compassionate daughter, an empathetic aunt, a kind sister, and even better mother. Nith had a large heart where her compassion would lead, and her vibrant personality would shine through. She was often considered the life of the party.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Andy, She is survived by her husband Khammonh Syvongsay, children, Wanda, Alex, and Anita(Brad), grandchildren Jenascia, Julianna, London, Christian, and Ava, and siblings Khamphiou(Thongxay, Viengkham(May), Phoxay(Loy), Thea, Katy, Bon(Doug), Khamla(Daphne), and a community of extended family and lifelong friends who will miss her deeply.

A cultural memorial service, followed by cremation, will be held on Thursday, June 18th 2026, from 11:30A-1:30P at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A gathering for celebration of life will be had at her home following the service. Flowers brought will be donated to Mulberry Gardens Senior Living.
