Nick Yukie
Nick Yukie went to see his Lord and Savior on May 20, 2014 where he is leading the heavenly choir. He retired after 38 years from Continental Baking Company (Wonder Bread/Hostess). He was a US Army Medic in WW II. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved his family, music, and golf. He was a fabulous singer and a comedian. He was a lifetime member of the Arlington Church of the Nazarene and was the Minister of Visitation and a Song Evangelist for many years. Everyone that knew him loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Olivia; son, Greg (Audrey) Yukie; daughter, Susan (Rick) Gump; son, Jeff (Nonni) Yukie; grandchildren, Brittany Gump, Nick (Jamie) Gump, Tera (John) Royston, Erin (Kevin) Mason, Timothy Yukie, Kevin (Charlese) Yukie, Dennis Yukie; and seven great-grandchildren. HEAVEN JUST RECEIVED ANOTHER ANGEL.

Visitation will be Friday, May 23 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. The funeral service will be Saturday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior at Arlington Church of the Nazarene, 1057 Triplett Blvd., Akron, Rev. Darrell Frazier officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
