Nicholas O. Hickin
January 22, 1992 — May 19, 2016
Nicholas Owen Hickin, 24, of Stow, Ohio, passed away on May 19, 2016 after a struggle with drug addiction.
Nick graduated from Stow Munroe Falls High School in 2010; shortly thereafter fell into the cycle of addiction from which he was unable to recover.
He was known for being a great son, brother, good friend and a genuinely kind person.
Most recently, he worked at his father's trucking company. Nick's family truly loved him and hopes he can now find the peace that he wasn't able to realize in life.
Nick is remembered with love by his father, Mark Hickin,; step-mother, Rachel Hickin, and his mother Kelly Hickin.
He is the oldest of five children and is survived by his sisters Catie and Julia, and his brothers, Jacob and Jonah; grandparents Jack and Ann Hickin, Craig and Sheila Moore, Shirley Spataro and numerous friends and relatives.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 12:00p.m to 1p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home. Funeral service immediately following. Nicholas will be laid to rest at Northlawn Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
