Nicholas Paul Fox III

Nicholas Paul Fox III, born February 8, 1954, in Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, at the age of 71.

Nick attended North High School and was a lifelong resident of Akron. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Nicholas Paul Fox Jr. and Edna June Butler, whose memories he cherished deeply.

For 46 years, Nick was a devoted husband to Kristi Fox, with whom he built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. He was a proud and loving father to his daughters, Jessica Rubino (Nick) and Nicole Sampsel (Brian), and a beloved papa bear to his cherished grandchildren: Lola, Gigi, Luci, Elli, Brian, and Paislee.

Nick is also survived by his brother Jeff, and sisters Debbie and Mary, along with a host of extended family members and friends who will miss his warmth, his wit, and his unwavering dedication to those he loved.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, being an avid Cleveland sports fan, his love for the outdoors, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Nicks motto was - I’m the one who has to die, when it’s time for me to die, so let me live my life the way I want to!
