Neville Ray Ralston

Neville Ray Ralston, 89, of Akron, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025. He was born on January 22nd, 1936 the son of the late Frank and Jane Ralston of Harrisville, WV. He was retired from operating engineers Local 18. He enjoyed Sunday dinners with family, he loved spending time with his family. Ray also enjoyed riding his motorcycles, boating, fishing, and loved tinkering and keeping busy. He was a gentle man, with love for his family.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Wanda F. Ralston; daughter Rebecca Ralston-Stuart; 5 brothers; and 1 sister.

Ray is survived by Sandy (Jack) Jones, Danny (Sandy) Ralston, Phillip (Sharon) Ralston, and Tracey (David King) Noe; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 6th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held on Wednesday, January 7th, at 11:00am with Pastor Fred Webb officiating.

Entombment will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park.
