Ned Arthur Oliver
Ned Arthur Oliver, 72, passed away July 30, 2012. He was born on February 18, 1940 in Akron to the late Louis and Betty Oliver. Ned drove a school bus for many years and retired as the transportation supervisor for Woodridge Schools. He owned his own home improvement company and served as a volunteer fireman for Northampton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny and Chuck. He will be deeply missed by his children, Debbie Oliver, Ned (Teresa) Oliver, Frank (Kathy) Oliver, and Cheryl (Paul) Carter; sister, Barb (Eddie) Commo; brothers, Fred Oliver and Dick (Sue) Oliver; fiance, Barb Short and her children, Leanne (Dave) DeLuca and Cliff (Andrea) Short; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 2 from 5-7 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Rd, Medina, OH 44256.
