Nathalie A. Stefancik

Nathalie A. Stefancik, 80, passed away unexpectedly on November 12, 2007, at St. Thomas Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Ohio. Nathalie was a legal secretary for many years, retiring from Brouse-McDowell, to a quiet life with her cat, Lucy. She enjoyed reading mysteries, garage sale browsing, and especially enjoyed the many varieties of wildlife that made their homes in her woodsy backyard. Nathalie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Katherine Coe, and her husband, William. She is survived by her son, Daniel Stefancik (Susan) and the light of her life, her granddaughter, Kimberly of San Diego, CA; sister, Helen (Fred) Edmonds of Kentucky, brother, James (Caroline) Coe of Ravenna, nephew, Rick, nieces, Marilyn and Holly. She will be missed by her special friends, Lois and Irene. The family wishes to thank Nathalie's neighbors, Julie and Jim for their help and support and the fine staff at St. Thomas Hospital Critical Care Unit for their efforts and compassion during Nathalie's final days. The family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd., Akron, 44305 on Thursday, November 15 from 5-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 16 at 11 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 4904 Quick Rd, Peninsula, OH or a charity of your choice.
