Narcie Hay Stover (Carpenter)

Narcie Hay Stover (Carpenter), daughter of Kinzy and Narcie Carpenter, peacefully passed on Thursday, April 17, 2014, surrounded by family.
She was born in Akron on September 8, 1926 and had been a resident of Brimfield for 50 years.
Survivors include sons, Stanley (Brenda) Wheeler, James T. Hay, Dave (Rhonda) Hay; daughters, Carol Hay, Sherry (Jerry) Eck; loving son-in-law, Don Ridenour; 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
Preceded in death by ex-husband, James Hay; grandson, David Hay, Jr.; daughter, Linda Ridenour.
Special thanks to her loving granddaughter, Carolynn Phillips, loving son, James, and the staff of Robinson Hospice for their care and support.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to Noon at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service to follow at Noon. Interment at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Robinson Hospice.
