Napoleon Carter Myers (Curly)
Napoleon Carter Myers (Curly) 96, of Akron passed away peacefully July 14, 2015. He was born in Granville, TN on March 19, 1919. Curly was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber for 39 years. He also delivered oil for Freese Oil and Bolin Oil Co. He was a number 1 fan for Green sports, having served many years as Green Youth Football Commissioner and working the high school football chains.
Curly was preceded in death by his loving wife Meda of 73 years. They lived in Green for 57 years, where they raised their three daughters, June (Tim) Probst of Green, Doneita (Karl) Bucey of Boardman and Patricia (Ray) Weber of Bath. He was the loving grandpa of 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 17, 2015 from 10-12pm with the funeral service starting at 12pm. Rev. Karl Bucey officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, friends may wish to donate to Love an Angel Foundation 3108 Vanderhoof Rd. New Franklin, OH 44216.
