Nancy Largent

Nancy Largent left this world the same way she lived, surrounded by those who loved her and deeply rooted in her faith. Through her life she selflessly donated her time bettering the lives she touched. Her early years were dedicated to her family, of whom she is survived by Harry, her husband of 60 years and 3 children: Mike (Heather) Largent, Karen (Mike) Schumm, and Sara (Chris) Petersen. She is also survived by her sister Helen Ames, brothers Paul (Sharon) McKibben and Roger (Shelley) McKibben, and by her 7 grandchildren: Christina (Kevin) Lord, Holly (Zack) Horovitz, Carrie Largent, Megan (Ryan) Phillips, Karina Schumm (Alex) Baggett, Ben Schumm, Reece Petersen, and 6 great- grandchildren: Harper Lord, Preston Lord, Maria Lord, Emerson Horovitz, Hudson Horovitz, Callen Horovitz.

She spent her later years as a school secretary, then after retirement focused her time helping those in need at The Haven of Rest. She was honored by them to receive their woman of the year award in 2024. Her conviction to her faith led her to work with the two and three year olds for 39 years at The Chapel. All of her family and friends will miss her immensely.
