Nancy Bowman

Nancy Bowman, 81, of Alliance, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. She was born in New Creek, WV on May 6, 1944 to the late Joseph and Margaret {Holloway} Delawder.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Roy Bowman, brothers Toby Delawder, Roger Holloway, Danny and Jerry Delawder and her beloved dog Peaches. After many years apart, Nancy is finally reunited with Roy, the love of her life, whom she cherished deeply.

Nancy is survived by her loving sons Scott and Mark (Brandie) Bowman; niece/honorary daughter Kimberly Holloway; grandchildren Tyler, Thomas, Vicki and Paige Bowman. She is also survived by her remaining 11 siblings and their families.

Nancy was a hard worker who dedicated her life to the people she loved. She would always lend out a helping hand to anyone who needed it, whether it was family or a stranger in need. She took joy in simple moments, a morning coffee, soap operas and games shows, sharing old memories with love ones, cheering on her children and grandchildren, and offering kindness to anyone in need. She will be remembered for her strength, her humor, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

Per Nancy's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal services. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Uniontown.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold your loved ones close and, if you feel led, make a donation to the Breast Cancer Foundation in Nancy’s memory.
