Mildred M. Wright, 93, went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2014.
She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kent. Mildred enjoyed playing Bingo and Yahtzee with her great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; her daughter, Sandy; and granddaughter, Cindy. She is survived by son, Denny (Fina); daughter, Susan (Ron) Cox; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-great-grandchild; brothers, Jim (Doris), Harold, and Walter; sisters, Eleanor (Phil) and Florence.
Calling hours will be Monday, 4-7 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 313 N. Depeyster St., Kent. Interment at Restland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Church or King of Glory Church, 1667 Ohio Rt. 303, Streetsboro, OH 44241.
