Mildred Dunnington

Mildred Dunnington, 95, of Akron, passed away June 17, 2014. She was born in Central City, Kentucky on March 4, 1919 to the late Virgil and Pauline Grady. Mildred worked throughout her life as a dedicated homemaker, caring for her husband and sons. She also enjoyed traveling to Florida with her husband, fishing and playing cards with her many friends.

In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her loving Husband, Abe Dunnington, Son, Tom Dunnington, and several Brothers and Sisters. She is survived by Sons, Roger (Becky) Dunnington and Bill (Barb) Dunnington, Sister, Sue Grogan, Grandchildren; Joe, Keri and Jay Dunnington, along with many Nieces and Nephews.

Family and friends may call on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 10:00 am-11:00 am at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, OH 44305 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am following visitation. Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Park.
