Michael D. Santy

Michael D. Santy, 66, went home to be with the Lord on January 28, 2017. He was born in Akron, OH to the late Dorsel and Evelyn Santy. He was a proud and highly decorated Vietnam Veteran. Michael enjoyed fishing and bowling. He was a hard worker, retiring from factory work after 30 years. Michael was in the Righteous Rider Christian Motorcycle Club. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Desire Santy; son, Michael D. Santy Jr.; grandchildren, Mikey, Haley, and Lacey Santy; 1 great-granddaughter, Kynzleigh; sisters, Terry (Lenny) and Janie (Jim); and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday February 2, 2017 from 6-8pm and funeral service will be held on Friday February 3, 2017 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Interment Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the funeral home.
