Michael Joseph Laktash
Michael Joseph Laktash, 68, of Akron, passed away on June 20, 2015. He was born in Akron on December 6, 1946 to the late George V. and Margery M. Laktash.
Mike proudly served in the U.S. Navy and later retired from Firestone/Bridgestone. He was an avid gun collector and belonged to a lapidary club where he enjoyed creating turquoise jewelry.
Mike will be dearly missed by his loving companion, Sachiko "Susie" Wellspring; brothers, Anthony (Sandy) Laktash and George J. Laktash; nieces and nephews, George V. Laktash, Lisa Laktash, Michelle Laktash, and Michael (Amy) Laktash.
Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2015 from 4-7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service with Mr. William Randall officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
