Michael Edward Fassnacht

Michael Edward Fassnacht, 62, went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2014.
He was a 1970 graduate of Hoban High School. Michael worked as machinist at NRM, Steel Products, and Esterle. For the past 7 years he had been employed at WIS International. Michael loved sports, babies, and computers. He adored his children and grandchildren. Michael was loved by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his son, David Michael; and brother, Alan Dale. Survivors include his wife, Christina, of 28 years; children, Danni Lyn (Philip) Ellis, Gary Lee (Elizabeth), and Bobbie Jo Fassnacht; parents, Daniel and Tootsie; 8 grandchildren; and many friends.
Calling hours will be Sunday, 3-6 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where prayers will be held Monday at 9:30. A funeral mass will be held Monday, 10 a.m., at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Inurnment will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew Church.
