Michael L. Dickey, Sr.

Michael L. Dickey, Sr., "Mike", age 73, of Akron, Ohio, died on Friday, September 29, 2017 at his home.
He was born June 9, 1944 in Long Beach, CA, the son of the late Ralph and Sybil Campbell Dickey.
Mike was an honorably discharged US Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He was a tire pattern maker in the tire/rubber industry for over 50 years. Mike enjoyed watching NASCAR, RC Cars, and doing yard work.
Survivors include his wife, the former Judy A. Brown, whom he married on November 23, 1963; his three sons, Michael L. (Linda) Dickey, Jr., Kenneth Dickey, and Robert (Fiance, Olivia Ramon) Dickey; his two granddaughters, Rachelle and Sarah Dickey; one great-grandson, Timothy Michael "Timmy". His siblings, Leonard (Margaret) Dickey, Karen Tabor, and Patricia "Trish" (Phil) Bedell, also survive.
Memorial services will be held in the Springtime 2018 and burial will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
