Michael Calgos

Michael "Mike" Calgos, 63, passed away suddenly on August 20, 2016. He was born in Akron and graduated from Ellet High School '71. Mike worked in the flooring business. His nickname was "Seam Master Mike". He was a very loving and caring person. Life is the greatest gift you will ever receive and Mike lived his to the fullest. He will be missed by many.
Mike was preceded in death by parents Mary and Thomas Calgos. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Cathy; son and daughter-in-law, Derrick and Stephanie; grandchildren, Aydin and Nevaeh; brother, David Calgos and family; sister, Cheryl Uhl and family; and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Nashville Nights, 88 W. Wilbeth Rd., Akron, OH 44301, on September 18, 2016 at 12:00pm. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
