Melvyn Hall, age 84, of Brimfield Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 16, 2025. Born on January 25, 1941, in Fairmont West Virginia, Melvyn lived a life of service, dedication, and love for his family.
He proudly served his country as a member of the Marines Corps from 1960 - 1964. Following his military service, Melvyn worked as a Machinist for 37 years at Marco Manufacturing.
Above all, Melvyn cherished his role as a husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his cherished wife, Bernice; his beloved sons Roy (Cassie) and Mike (Jennifer); and his treasured grandchildren Braden, Lacy, Maddox, and Lauren. His sisters Joanne (Phil), Donna (Dick), and Cathy, as well as his nieces and nephews, also mourn his passing and celebrate the bond they shared. Melvyn is preceded in death by his father Fred; his mother Dolores; and his sister Connie.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 6, 2026, with visitation from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305), followed by a brief service. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of his life.
