Melina J. (Boston) Huddy

Melina J. (Boston) Huddy, 62, of Mineral Wells, WV went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2017. She was born in Akron, OH and attended Rootstown Local Schools. Melina worked for the Lanxide Co and was responsible for prototypes for NASA Space Shuttle Program. She was the Faith and Community Reporter for Parkersburg News and Sentinel. She was an avid animal lover and lover of word games. She loved everyone she considered her family with all that she had. Melina was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Sue Boston; and her soul mate, Deano Curtis.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Dylan Smith; daughter, Bronwen (Wayne) Scarberry; grandchildren, Nicholas Scarberry, and Wesley and Victoria Smith; great-grandchildren, Carter Smith, and Spencer and Lucas Nichols; sisters, Bindy and Paula; brother, Paul; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 3-5pm at Millheim Baptist Church 2661 Hayne Rd. Akron, OH 44312 with the funeral service immediately following.
