Melanie Sunshine Perry

Melanie Sunshine Perry, age 50 of Atwater passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026. She was born in Akron on October 14, 1975 to Karen {Simpson} Brink and the late Richard Brink.

Melanie will be dearly missed by her mother Karen; children Morgan (Malachi) Deloney, Sterling Perry and Ty Perry; sister Tamara (Adam) Lang; nephew and niece Adam Lang Jr. & Gracianne Lang.

Melanie was a loving mother, daughter, sister, friend, and a truly unforgettable person to those fortunate enough to know her. She was strong-willed, compassionate, funny, and deeply caring. She loved tennis, enjoyed spending time with the people closest to her, and had a genuine desire to see good in the world around her.

Her greatest legacy is the love she gave throughout her life. She created countless memories with her family and friends, and her presence will continue to be felt in the stories they tell, the traditions they carry forward, and the many lives she touched along the way.

Her life ended far sooner than those who loved her were ready for, but the impact she made during her 50 years will remain. She will be remembered with tremendous love and missed beyond measure.
