Maxine R. Steele

Maxine R. Steele, 87, of Mogadore, passed away August 13, 2014. She was born in Spencer, WV on April 16, 1927 to the late Hobert and Locie Nichols. Maxine always took great care of her family as a dedicated homemaker. She loved providing home cooked meals and talking on the telephone to all of her family, friends and neighbors.

In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Darrell Steele, Jr. and her Son, Samuel Steele. She will be dearly missed by her Daughter, Mary (Gary) Crites, Son, David Steele, Sisters, Christine and Mary Lou, Brothers, Robert and Holbert, Grandchildren; Melissa, Harvey, Rose, Gregory, Michael, Anna, David, Richard, Stevie, Tonya, Michelle, Buddy, Ashley,Taylor, Kelly and James, several Great Grandchildren and extended family. along with many other family and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held following visitation at 11:00 am. Interment at Sunset Hills Burial Park in N. Canton.
