Matthew William Patterson, 20, of Deerfield, passed away on July 1, 2015. He was born on September 23, 1994 in Akron, Ohio. Matt was very proud of his job as the general manager of the Streetsboro UHaul with aspirations to become an area field manager. He had a way with numbers and under his leadership, the store turned a profit after six months. Matt loved working with his hands and enjoyed Legos and carpentry. Matt was a very generous and giving person. Whenever anyone needed help, he was there to lend a hand. He knew everything about GM vehicles and was particularly fond of Chevy trucks. In his free time, he also liked playing video games and watching anime. His family and friends will always remember his love of peanut butter and plain hamburgers.
Matt will be deeply missed by his parents, William Patterson and Barbara Harsh; fiancee, Brandie Mae Russ and their daughter, Lynn Cecilia Patterson; siblings, Hillary (Christopher) Mitchell, Kristin Patterson, Allison Patterson, and Will Patterson; grandparents, William and Joann Patterson, Phyllis Fassnacht and Robert Lindeman, Robert and Clarissa Harsh; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
