Mary Windle

Mary A. Windle, 54, of Akron, passed away February 16, 2015. Mary was born in Akron, Ohio on December 12, 1960. She graduated from Ellet High School class of 1979. Graduated from Tampa Medical Institute with a degree in Surgical Technology and worked in the surgical field for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, fishing, camping and spending time with her family. Mary was preceded in death by her father Albert Edward Hillier. She is survived by husband, Michael Windle Sr. of 35 wonderful years; son, Michael Windle; daughter, Melissa Abrams; sons, Matthew (Heidi) Windle and, Anthony Windle; mother, Sandra Hoard; grandchildren, Mikayla Windle, Ava Stover, Joshua Windle, Alyssa Abrams, Grace Hayes, Haley Windle, Robert Windle, Kaylyn Roberts and Colton Windle due June 21; brothers, Edward Hillier and Timothy Hillier; sister, Christy (Gregory) Stanton; brother-in-law, William "Billy" Stanton; best friends, Susie Cole and Michelle First. Cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 18, from 5pm to 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron.
