Mary Ann Trifiro

Mary Ann Trifiro, 83, of Norton, passed away on October 22, 2025 at Village of St. Edward Wadsworth. She was born in Akron on August 31, 1942 to the late Johnny O. and Eva {Bender} Johnson.

In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph Trifiro in June of 2022.

Mary Ann is survived by her sons Michael Trifiro and Scott Curtis; granddaughter Samantha Curtis; step-son Keith Overstreet; sisters Bonnie and Kathy.

Mary Ann was born in Akron and raised in Sharon Center, then Copley, where she cared for the farm animals and picked the strawberries she'd grown to sell at her family's farm market, Bender's. After graduating fro Copley High School in 1960, Mary Ann began her career as a computer programmer with Babcock & Wilcox, retiring in 1986. In her free time, she enjoyed vacationing to Atlantic City, New Jersey, visiting Wildwood, trips to Florida, and long drives enjoying the scenery.

Nothing brought Mary Ann more joy than being a wife and mother. After her retirement, she dove into family life, and they made many wonderful memories together. She will be dearly missed by all those that had the chance to love her.
