Mary Smith, born July 10, 1916, passed away on March 28, 2014, surrounded by family.
She was a beloved mother, grandma, and friend.
Preceded in death by her husband, Earl; and infant daughter, Mary. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley and Mae; sons, William and Frank; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Even in your final days, you showed all of us love and strength. We love you mom and grandma!
A special thanks to Hospice (Beth and Michael), for their care so that we were able to have mom at home for her final days.
Calling hours will be Monday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
