It is with a cheerful heart that we celebrate the vibrant life of Mary Pearl Page, who danced her way into our lives on February 7, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio. After 75 wonderful years filled with laughter and love, she took her final bow on November 9, 2025, in Akron, Ohio.
Mary was a true firecracker—her personality shone as brightly as her spirit. For 25 enchanting years, she graced Springfield Township Marc's with her infectious energy, becoming a beloved figure among her colleagues and customers alike. Whether she was sharing her latest joke or just brightening someone's day with her presence, Mary was undeniably the life of the party. Always the jovial soul, she embraced every moment with a twinkle in her eye, being “up for anything,” no matter her age.
An adoring matriarch, Mary cherished her children Mary (Dennis) Jones, Denny (Bonnie) Tingler, and Marvin Tingler. Her 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren were the apples of her eye, bringing her endless joy and pride. Everyone knew that Mary’s heart was full of songs and stories—she even made up a whimsical tune titled "I'm going 90 miles an hour down the road," which became a cherished memory for her family.
For many years, Mary took delight in setting up at the Hartville Flea Market, where her vibrant spirit and love for life attracted friends and laughter. A lottery enthusiast, she played the odds with a sparkle of hope, showing that she never shied away from a little excitement!
Mary is reunited in the afterlife with the cherished souls she has lost along the way: her beloved husband, Tom D. Page; parents Oley and Nola Dell (Barker) Workman; her great-grandson, Caleb Huffman; sisters Juanita Kesner and Phyllis Ann Workman; and her brother, Junior Workman. Their absence is felt keenly by those who remain, but through stories and memories, they live on.
She will be warmly remembered by her sisters Helen Stout and Karen Ann Harris, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Mary also leaves behind her beloved “baby” Yorkie, Rocky, who certainly knew how lucky he was to be part of such a loving family.
As we gather to remember this incredible woman, let us carry forward her spirit of perseverance and joy.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron, Ohio, on Friday November 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a heartfelt funeral service on Saturday November 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
