April 28, 1939 — December 5, 2023
Mary T. McClung, 84, passed away peacefully December 5, 2023. Born in Hungary, she lived in the Akron area all of her life. She retired as a secretary at the University of Akron after 25 years of service. Mary enjoyed her dogs, the outdoors, gardening, watching The Price is Right and spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Nuber, she will be sadly missed by her son, Greg McClung; grandchildren, Brandon (Amanda), Megan (Greg); great grandsons, Jameson, Declan.
Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
