Mary Jane Major
September 15, 1931 — March 17, 2019
Mary Jane Major (nee Hill), 87, passed away March 17, 2019 at Woodlands in Ravenna. Born in Rinards Mills, Ohio to Wilford and Olive (Griffin) Hill, she was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ in Ravenna, where she taught Sunday School for over 40 years. Those who knew Jane will always remember how she cooked and baked on holidays for everyone. Jane will be missed by the birds she fed over the years.
In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Ben; and brother, David Hill. She will be sadly missed by son, Greg (Kim); grandsons, Jim (Kristin), Jeff (Kim), Chris; great grandchildren, Matthew, Nicole, Jacob, Joshua, Alex; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no services. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Jane's name to the Ravenna Church of Christ, 3897 Summit St., Ravenna, OH 44266.
