Mary Ann Karamas

Mary Ann Karamas was born to Charles and Inez Boyd on September 30, 1943. On August 26, 2026, she went home to be with her lord and savior surrounded by her family. She was welcomed by both of her son’s, Louis Karamas Jr and Jimmy Karamas; brother Charles Boyd; and brother-in-law’s Andrew and John Karamas.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years Louis Karamas; daughters Victoria Fletcher, Norma Fletcher, Stephanie Karamas (Jonathan Kemp), grandchildren Derrick Edman Jr, Kain Karamas, Aubrey Karamas-Hudson (Payten Hudson) and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by an abundance of nieces and nephews.

Mary thrived for her children and grandchildren. Her heart was huge; she spent her life caring for people. A special thank you to the cousins and close friends who have helped my mother for the last 3 years.

A public visitation will be held 11am-1pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home. The Funeral ceremony will begin at 1pm, also at Newcomer Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 2pm at Mt. Peace Cemetery.
