Mary Jane Fohner (nee Oden), 81, passed away on September 19, 2018. A longtime Akron resident, she was born July 15, 1937. Mary was preceded in death by her late husband, Ron Fohner; grandson, Scott Stewart; brothers, Oscar, Jack and Ted Oden; sisters, Doris White and Jean Selby. She is survived by her children, Karen Stetler, John (Monika) King, Sheryl Ihrig, James (Anna) King, Lori Keith; step-children, Terry, Rusty, Jodi and Rhonda Fohner; grandchildren, Jason King, David Chute, James Stetler, Bonnie (Chris) Demboski, Elaina King, Joshua King, Jennifer (Mark) Echols, Crystal Krahling and Kyle King; 8 step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She will always be remembered as the best mother, grandmother and friend anyone could ever ask for. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
