Martha Ellen Ray-Yensen, 80, passed peacefully at home on April 5, 2021 surrounded by family and love.
Martha was a lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio until 2007 when she moved to Bellville, Ohio and has resided since.
She leaves behind her three daughters, Valorie (Gary) Yensen-Copen, Vanessa Moede, and Ellen (Mark) Crossan; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Copen, Cassandra Lewis, Jerry (Cindy) Lewis Jr., Joshua Copen, Colleen Nance, Stephanie Robinson, Tiffany (James) Zeger, Jessica (Dan) Talbott, Jackie Crossan; surviving siblings, Mary Eleanore Segal, William "Bill" (Shirley) Ray; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Martha was preceded in death by her mother and father, Maude Elizabeth Ray and William Elias Ray; her ex-husband and father to her children, Wesley "Butch" Yensen; herlater in life partner, Don Hartenstein; and five other siblings, Jerry, Bob, Josie, Katie, and Eddie.
Martha was a bright light in many lives and she will be missed greatly.

Graveside services with Pastor Josiah Beougher officiating will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E. Waterloo Rd., Akron.
