Marsha J. Sano

Marsha J. Sano, 76, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026 after a lengthy illness. Born in Des Moines, Iowa to Ferrell and Frances (Coleman) Brooks, she resided in the Akron, Ohio area most of her life. Marsha enjoyed playing bingo as well as lottery tickets, watching her sons bowl, karaoke, playing games and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her husband, Barry Sano Sr; siblings, Bev Propst, Cheryl Bennett, Robert Brooks, Richard Brooks, Gerry VanDee, Sonny Brooks, Shirley Poling, Bill Brooks; granddaughter, Angelica; great grandson, Bryson. She will be sadly missed by her children, Scott Sano (fiance Melodie Esque), Tina (Art) Hernandez, Barry Jr (Dawna) Sano; 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; siblings, Sharon Gold, Terry (Louann) Brooks, Randy Brooks; many nieces and nephews.

The family will have a celebration of Marsha's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Marsha's name to the animal rescue organization of their choice.
