Marlene E. "Marla" Curro

Marlene E. "Marla" Curro, 65, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026 surrounded by her family. Born in Akron, Ohio, she resided in the area most of her life. She enjoyed teaching children, gardening, her cats, watching General Hospital, observing wildlife, traveling and spending time with her family.

Marla was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund Baldwin and Janet Baldwin Burkholder. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 35 years, Phillip Curro; siblings, Mark (Elizabeth) Baldwin, Barry (Kim) Baldwin, Steve (Coleen) Baldwin; step-father, Donald Burkholder; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and friends.

The family will have a celebration of Marla's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Marla's name to the animal rescue organization of their choice.
