Marjorie M. Hughes, 87, of Akron, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2015. She was born in Akron on September 28, 1927. Marjorie retired as a supervisor at Kmart after over 25 years of service. In her free time, she was an avid gardener and seamstress. She also loved shopping with family and friends.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Hughes; parents, John and Gizella Bank; and brother, Robert Bank. She will be deeply missed by her children, Roy Hughes, Nancy (Joe) Mitchner, and Tracy (Charles) Sidlosky; grandchildren, Rachael Jones, Joey Mitchner, Shelby Mitchner, and Luke Hughes; great-grandson, Chandler Wilson; and many dear friends.
Per Marjorie's wishes, private services will be held for the family.
