Marion J "Mario" Della-Serra
Marion "Mario" Della-Serra, age 60, of Akron, passed away at Akron City Hospital on May 5, 2007. Marion was a 1965 graduate of Garfield High School where he played football and was honored to be named an All City All-Star. He then attended the University of Akron, receiving a degree and belonging to the Lone Star Fraternity. Marion is preceded in death by his father, Nicholas R. and a brother Donald Della-Serra. He is survived by his mother, Clara H. Della-Serra;brothers Gary, Ronald, and Michael Della-Serra all of Akron and Richard Della-Serra of Seattle, WA.;and his nieces Brittany and Angela and great niece Zoey. A graveside service will will take place on Saturday May 12 at Holy Cross Cemetery at 11:30 AM. Online condolensces can be made at www.newcomerfamily.com.
