Margie has joined her High School sweetheart and husband of 60 years on May 25, 2014.
Margie was born January 11, 1932 to the late Franklin and Ursula Hunt in Washington, PA. She met Robert her High School sweet heart in 1948 and married him December 25 1950. In 1953 they moved to Akron, Ohio and have lived in the area since.
Margie is preceded in death by husband Robert, their son, Wayne McCullough " Butch", and sister Helen Hunt.
She is survived by daughter Sharon Buckus, son Richard McCullough (Diane), grandsons Stephen Buckus (Amy), and Bryan Buckus, granddaughter Mary McCullough, all of Akron, sister Elinore (Hunt) Ellis Neuman of Washington, PA., brothers Robert (Ruth) Hunt of Boise, IO., and Charles (Evon) Hunt of Winter Haven FL. Margie was a full time homemaker, wife, mother, caregiver, and grandmother for her extended family.
Calling hours will be TODAY, 6-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Uniontown.
