Margaret Turley

Margaret Loriane Turley passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the age of 88. She was born on April 22, 1926 in Rutledge, TN to David & Mae Tate . Margaret moved to Akron, Ohio in 1948 and eventually moved to Cuyahoga Falls where she raised, loved, and supported her children. She worked for FW Woolworth Company for 30 years. She returned to Rutledge, TN upon retiring to be close to her sisters, brother, and a large extended family. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her sisters Sarah Horner and Goldie Clevenger. Margaret is survived by her four children: Tava Busey of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Diane Neal of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Dale Turley (Diane) of Sagamore Hills, OH, Ray Turley (Linda) of Clemmons, NC; eight wonderful grandchildren: Kellie Shafer, Jeff Neal, Shelly Swantz, David Turley, Ryan Turley, Jonathan Turley, Sarah Turley, Nick Turley; and six great-grandchildren: Andy & Ashley Shafer, Amanda & Jamie Neal, Kara & Sullivan Swantz. Margaret is also survived by her sisters Doris Watson, Kat Farrar, & Wanda Kinkead and brother, David E. Tate, Jr. and many, many nieces and nephews. Private services to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N Canton Rd, Akron OH, following Services will be held at the Smith Funeral Home in Ruthledge TN.
