Margaret G. Flint, 81, of Akron, passed away March 30, 2014. She was born in Salem, OH on October 22, 1932 to the late Charles and Mary Weaver. Margaret was an avid sport fan, but loved supporting the Lord's mission field even more.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; daughter, Sandra and two brothers, Donald and C. Glenn Weaver. Margaret is survived by her sons, Robert (Charlene), Terry (Valerie); daughter, Gayle (Mark) Basinger; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas and Kenneth Weaver; sisters, Avon Graham, Faye Starkey, Carol Houchen, Martha Schaal and Mary Nuzum; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Friday, April 4, from 4-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., and on Saturday, April 5, from 10-11 a.m. at Greentown Church of the Nazarene, 10031 Cleveland Ave. NW, Greentown, OH 44630 where a funeral service will follow the morning calling hours at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dave Langdon officiating. Interment at Hope Cemetery, Salem, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Life Through the Word Ministry, 508 Surrey Lane, Marysville, OH 43040.
